I will be starting a series on Ron Weinland “False Prophet” Myths Debunked. This series will address premature declarations of false prophethood, and point out the fallacies in many of these arguments.
“False Prophet” Myth #1:
Ron Weinland is a false prophet because COG ministers haven’t died.
As many of you who have read his book know, in the Fifth Thunder he prophesies the demise of many COG ministers, who in his eyes are preaching false doctrine and leading people astray. Page 115 states:
The Fifth Thunder is divided into three specific phases of death:
1. The First Phase is death within the Church of God that was scattered.
Those eager to declare him a false prophet point to this passsage in his book on page 115:
Before the Seventh (and final) Seal is opened, the Seven Thunders will become so pronounced that the validity of everything written about them in the previous chapter should roar loudly in the ears of anyone who is willing to admit the truth.
Now those rabid anti-Weinland nuts will gleefully exclaim, “See? People should have died by now since it’s a part of the Fifth Thunder!”
Not only is this pathetically weak thinking on their part, it ignores the duration of the Fifth Thunder. If you listened to his “critics”(I’m being kind), you’d have thought the Fifth Thunder was already over. But when we read further, we learn something else entirely.
On Page 109:
The Sixth Thunder is the growing revelation of God’s end-time witnesses. This thunder wil grow louder as the events described in the previous thunders continue to unfold with ever increasing intensity..
In other words, the Sixth Thunder contains all the previous thunders within it. So how long is the Sixth Thunder? We turn to Page 116:
This Sixth Thunder will continue to grow much louder through this final three and one-half years.
Wow! So every single thunder lasts the final three and one-half years! So when Ron Weinland prophesied the death of COG ministers, he was saying it could happen anywhere in the tribulation! It is by no means over!
In other words, the Fifth Thunder has not ended yet, which means there is still time for this prophecy to be fulfilled. So those declaring him a false prophet based on that prophecy are prematurely declaring him a false prophet!
Note : Many of the “False Prophet” myths are like this. Those virulent anti-Weinland people hope you will not do your research and discover what they already know – he has not yet been proven false at all!
finally, someone who has a true prospective. I’m not saying here that Ron is wright but everybody is so quick to say he is a false prophet. But, if you have been really listening and reading like I have to get the unbiased truth you will see that there has been nothing that he has said that has been contradictory yet. These people either forget or don’t care to realize that “the whole world will be deceived.” What do you expect to happened if it’s the end of the world? Flying ufo’s burning cities. What did you expect the Pope to look like on the 17th of April? His head spinning, spewing out green slime? It says he will have two horns like a lamb. He is supost to look gentle and peaceful, but if you read between the lines of his speeches and the Vatican documents you will get a different picture. There will be people up in till the last day of the great Tribulation who will not even know we are in the great tribulation according to the Bible. You might think what great stupidity, but we are in such great denial now I am starting to understand how this could happen.
By the way, in the first trumpet when a third of the grasses and vegetation (something like that) is supost to be burnt up Ron said on the 19th of April that it would happen by many means such as fire, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. And of course, it does not have to finishes before the second trumpet is sounded between 45 and 90 days after the 17th of April. Look up some statistic this year of tornadoes just in the US so far this year, if you dare.
Maybe, just maybe God is giving some of you ministers and people in the scattered church a little time to repent before it is too late. I would go to God with a sincere heart if I were you. And no I was never part of World Wide.
