Ronald Weinland has stated that the four trumpets will, cumulatively, bring the United States to its knees, effectively erasing it as the premier superpower of our era. This will also end the United Kingdom’s existence as a world power with major clout.
The Book of Revelation, Chapter 8, Verse 12:
And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
2008 – Gods Final Witness, page 120:
The cumulative effect from the first three trumpet blasts will be announced by this fourth blast, which will cause much more destruction. By this time, over one-third of the population of the United States, the United Kingdom and their closest allies will have died.
Many more will continue to die from the results of this fourth event. Weather conditions will be horribly altered on earth as a result of one-third of the sun’s light no longer being able to warm the earth and give light. Plant life and normal growing cycles will not be sustained by the sun as in the past.
This will result in immediate famine over many areas of the earth. The effects from the Fourth Trumpet blast will results in far greater death – again – tens of millions.
At this point in time, the United States has absorbed the impact of a devastating natural disaster. In addition to that, America and it’s allies have endured nuclear attacks and one-third of their respective populations are dead. According to Ron Weinland, this fourth trumpet blast is the coupe de grace – the proverbial nail in the coffin.
Unlike the first three trumpets, which Ronald Weinland has extrapolated extensively on, very little has been said about the exact nature of this event. However, the effects are clear. The sun loses one-third of its power and cannot warm the earth as in past times. This causes massive famine and starvation and by extension, the deaths of tens of millions.
Revelation 8:13 -
Then I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth because of the trumpet blasts from the three angels who are yet to sound!”

The expression “woe” refers to dire consequences that will be far more destructive in the world. There are three “woes,” which refer to the events that will follow in the last three trumpet blasts.
The downfall of the United States and her closest allies will lead to a great power vacuum in the world; nations will race to fill the void. Many areas of the world, that have been held at bay by the influence of the United States and her closest allies, will now be determined to accomplish their will on others. They will be held back no longer.
North Korea is free to invade South Korea. China can attack Taiwan. Many other countries with territorial disputes are free to invade and attack without fear of repercussions from America. This is the end of the United States as a deterring force and the end of America as the superpower of the world.
I want to get on track with what this might mean for all of us who are US citizens, as well as those who enjoy some exent of US aid or soverignty. I have felt in the past a longing for some sort of judgment to come upon the US for one moral shortcoming or another, feeling the right to judge a country as though it were of equal moral culpability as any individual on the street, but to consider the United States’ demise by way of natural and nuclear destruction makes me feel great pangs of heart. I love this country for much of what it represents, even if in some twilight of greatness. These are somber things to consider. I hope we don’t take too lightly the severity, the gravity of what it is we’re discussing. I think it should lead us to God the Father in a similarly somber way…humble, fearful, contrite of heart. The destruction that God has in store for this fallen world, whether this year or in years to come, should lead us to the place of ultimate perfection, that is, straight to the Christ. Our fallen world and nature calls out from the grave for something better, better than the blood of Able does, for someone richer and stronger, someone begotten of the Father Himself. Let us turn to Christ for the wisdom He provides.
