Ronald Weinland’s book, 2008 – Gods Final Witness, page 95 states:
The Second Thunder is the increasing destruction generated by earthquakes.
Ronald Weinland wrote that passage before the devastating 7.8 earthquake occurred in China, which is now estimated to have killed just under 70,000 people.
Yesterday I spoke about the 6.1 earthquake that struck in Greece, killing two people. And now, fresh off the AP news wire, we learn this:
RENO, Nev. – A months-long swarm of earthquakes picked up again Sunday as a string of minor temblors rattled Reno, causing downtown high-rises to sway and knocking items off walls and shelves.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or major property damage after about 20 minor quakes reported on the western edge of Reno over 12 hours ending about noon.
There have been many swarms reported in the Nevada area, prompting some to speculate whether or not they are perhaps a precursor to a larger event.

Rescuers in boats continued to pluck people from rising waters in Indiana on Sunday, a day after more than 10 inches of rain deluged much of the state.

Oil keeps skyrocketing upwards and gas just hit a new record. Meanwhile, Jeff Nyquist has two excellent articles on the reasoning behind the obscene oil prices:

America is not the mighty nation it once was. Our country is pounded by storms and tornadoes, earthquakes and flooding while our economy teeters on the brink of collapse. We have reached a point where the question becomes not if, but when.
It becomes more obvious with each approaching day that America’s congressional leaders are frozen into inaction because of political bickering and their failure to diagnose the problem. God has allowed this once great nation to understand that all blessings come from God, and without him there is nothing. For far too long, we have taken our prosperity for granted, thinking we are entitled to it, thinking we earned it somehow. We are about to learn this is far from the truth.

Top us news reporters take live videos of large homes and roads being swept away whole in Milwaukee’s. I never seen such a sight.
Things are even worse today. I expect that will continue until the end of September 2011. I receive daily e-mails now which include articles showing what’s happening. I don’t have the time or inclination to depression to read everything. You mentioned three of the thunders, but ignored the first – “Terror of War”: 9/11 is when 6th Seal was Opened (all 7 Buildings of trade center destroyed) and is the beginning of the Seven Thunders. I get articles pertaining to war and rumors of war, as well.
Patience is good to have now, in addition to faith & expectation. There’s always admonishment for repentance and baptism in both water and the power of Yahweh.

If you can understand the fact that Herbert W Armstrong, who died in the 1980’s, was not aware that God & Jesus were separate individuals, he wrote an excellent book on sex. Truly the most honest, open, up-to-date and written for the average Joe book on sex I’ve ever read! The only problem with the book is HWA’s insistence on the two being one physically versus spiritually. And in case you don’t know HWA – he was the end time Elijah! Truth. If you’d like to read the book, it’s a pdf file on http://www.hwacompendium.com/, called “The Missing Dimension in Sex.”
you might be able to order it cheaply off of Amazon or something. I got as many old armstrong books I could through Amazon. All pretty cheap too compaired to buying it in a store. There is one scattered church that also gives away a free copy of Mystry of the ages, too. I did hear that they might have made changes to it though acording to what they want you to think. I did not compair but did give it to my sister to read.
I figure (or hope) when all you know what hits the fan at least I’ll have my bibles, old sermons on mp3 and weinland and armstrong books. First priority was what is on the web-cite.

Rachel, If you are still reading this, I really do recommend that you read Missing Dimension. Even your friend might like it as far as pleasure is concerned. The book gets to the nitty gritty without seeming either dirty or religious. Just remember that Armstrong wasn’t aware that Jesus and God are two separate individuals physically and one in mind, purpose and spirit. Jesus is Yahweh Elohim’s son. This information was kept from Mr. Armstrong in order to separate the true church from those portions still asleep.

Truthseeker, we do need to remember that he was not a “prophet” but an apostle and teacher (our end-time Elijah) as we read anything of Armstrong’s.
Becouse Armstrong was the end-time Elijah is the reason that I want his writings. Even RW put his books on PKG’s site to read. I bought them because I like the feel of books in my hand, they will be there when the power goes out and much easier to share with friends.
I have also bought several copys of both of RW’s books. I bought to have them to share with people after the power goes out but end up giving them to people and run out. I don’t feel right asking for more copies of the book from RW, especially since I just started tithing and my tithes are not that much (stay at home mom, just started working pt). And frankly it is very hard to tell someone to go to any web-page and read/watch/listen to something, even if it is free. But books you can just leave with someone and pray that one day they will pick it up and read it. I don’t give them to everyone but I did at least to most of my closest friends and family. I don’t mind paying for them used, from an individual because it haves value to me and it is cheaper than buying it from the store. It is free on the web-page but I was just sharing what I did because of my reasons and giving people ideas of other options that they might have.
I didn’t get everything that Armstrong ever wrote but wanted to at least to have what Ron Weinland puts on his site.
when I write, I assume that people themselves have listened and already researched RW for them selfs. It is not my responsibility to preach or teach anyone for I am not a teacher. I am just sharing my experiences, feelings and observations. I am nobody, nobody without my father. If anyone wants truth they must go to where God is. I can say that the truth is with the Bible, Ron Weinland, the Church of God-pkg, but this is proof to nobody. If someone has not found the truth than the only unbiased thing I can tell them is to seek it with all there heart and mind. Love the Truth and settle for nothing but the pure, clean truth. This is where I started and what I still seek. This is my foundation, not any church or man. Yet, the truth has lead me to God and his true church and prophet. That is why my confidence is so strong. If anyone reading this doubts me I say, “good, prove me wrong, or find the truth for your self, because I can not save you.”

Hello, I am a new member of God’s Church under R. Weinland and am very pleased to find a website that is not purely trying to discredit Ron.Whether he is who he says he is, or not, is only a matter of time,I myself am in full agreement with his teachings about God because I see the fruits of these teachings in my everyday life, and God tells us, through Jesus that we will know whether it is of him by it’s fruits, but that is of course how I am approaching this, and I am nobody without God.
Herbert W. Armstrong fullfilled Matthew 24:14, indeed revealing him as the promised ‘Elijah the prophet’, in Malachi 4:5, preceeding the end of this age.Although Herbert was Elijah, God didn’t choose to reveal all truth to him completely, i.e. Pentecost on Sunday, not Monday, for 40 odd years, or Melchizedek’s real Identity, but that requires the state of those spoken of in Rom.8:14, which of course begins with repentance and baptism.What I am trying to say is simply that I wonder if God is maybe giving Ron, in this time of global turmoil, things he didn’t give Herbert so people might use their ears to hear, because Herbert was obviously of God, and Ron refers back to Herbert often and with great respect for his teaching.
Ron is not trying to win a great number into the Church of God P.K.G. , John 6:44 is what does it as revealed by God, through Jesus. Bearing that in mind, God himself will save, or spare those HE chooses for his soon coming Kingdom and perfect government, which I truly believe only Ron is preaching at this time, I also believe those who are interested in what Ron has to say are being called by God like I was.
I am from Australia and so I am also with you all, in that, we are to soon suffer at the hands of evil men along with the other allies making up modern-day Israel, and keeping that in mind I think we should all try to comfort one another as much as possible like a close family, after all, isn’t this what God eventually wants?Eph.1:10-12, Rom.8:16-20.
Before my recent conversion and baptism I partook of lots of things the world has to offer, 1 John 2:16, as much as the next, but after baptism and the laying on of hands by one of God’s true ministers I simply do not desire them anymore, that’s not to say all memory is gone, but that’s all part of fighting for this wonderful way of life, kind reguards and my love goes out to all.
Nice to hear from you Gerald. I don’t read these as much as I used to. It’s amazing how when you are called God does it in such a clear way, you just want to shout it out from the roof tops, but every one just tunes you off. But, for you it is clear as night and day.
My husband and I just bought a house 6 months ago, which was 100% better than the apartment we were living in before. I really can’t express how much we have been blessed but sometimes I wonder when I watch the news if I should have taken that opportunity to move out of the country. But, anyway I trust in God that we are where we are suppose to be.
I also feel a kinship with others whom I have had these conversations with and shared some experience with.
